Memories of My Last Field Trip

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, large gatherings are temporarily canceled to prevent the spread of the said deadly disease. Obviously, our government did not risk the lives of every single student in the Philippines so we didn't have a choice but to study online. And because we are now having online classes, we didn't have a chance to go on educational trips like we used to before. So now, I'm just looking at the pictures I took while I'm alone with my friends and enjoying the journey that we waited for so long. I saw many tall buildings that I didn't see here in Laguna. I saw a colorful Kaleidoscope that makes my eyes sparkle into joy. I saw a man-made river inside a mall and I got to taste the most delicious Strawberry Milk Tea in the Philippines. All of those things are just running on my mind and make me feel nostalgic. I can't deny and say that I'm completely okay with this situation, but I think this is the safest choice we have, at the moment. It also provided time for me to spend with my family, which I didn't have before. Now that I'm missing those good old days, I can't help but cry and feel lonely inside. I miss everything, my friends, my classmates, the street foods we used to eat, the long walks and small talks, the quarrel and so on. I really hope this tragedy will end soon, it's painful to see everyone struggle just to find food for their families. Currently, there are 4 vaccines that are present in our country. We are hoping that these four will end this so-called hell and bring everything back to the way it used to be. What we all need is to trust in God. May God bless us all.
