Be your own Picasso

Did you know that our life is a canvas? Our experiences are pigmented paints with vibrant colors. If the experience is cheery, the color is bright. If the experience is gloomy or anything opposite of the first one, the color is darker. Last March 2020, an unremovable stain popped up on my canvas. It was so shocking that it took me seven months to take it all in. At first, I didn't want to believe it, and I thought it'll end as quickly as possible. Maybe that was the main reason why being at home every day was so easy for me. In my perspective, it's an advantage because I thought that lockdown would give me the time to rest my mind and body. Little did I know, that situation would last for a year and a half. In the early stage, I was happy because of the suspension, but when it lasted for weeks and months, I suddenly realized, "Oh! People are struggling. So are my family and friends. I hope this will end as soon as possible." Many people have experienced anxiety during the jail season, even me. I felt that reality slapped me with its humongous hand. That was so sad that I was at the point where all I wanted to do was cry and blame me for everything. I felt responsible for not being mindful of the words I said before about ending school early and everything else. I think God played a flashback of everything I did before. With this topic said, I can say that this pandemic also did something good and reasonable, right? If the old me is the one who's writing this blog right now, she probably just blabbered about something that she just found on the Internet. Some of us indeed became more mature due to the pandemic. Some of us became more negative about life, but we can't blame them because we're not in their shoes, and we should understand that. Let us try to focus on the things that we have rather than the things we don't. In that way, you will see that God has provided you more than you deserve. 2020 truly gave us an eschewed gift, called Corona Virus Disease. Always be positive, but not on the swab test.
